This cake was for a 60th Wedding Anniversay. The two tiers of the cake were both vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling. After covering the cake in buttercream, we added a rope border to both tiers and added a simple rope draping on the bottom tier. Around the bottom of the top tier, we made red rosettes and added a silver dragee in the center of each. We piped many roses to put in the middle of the cake. We also added 2 to the top of the cake. In the center of the bottom tier, I piped out a heart and then topped it with red and white rosettes and then placed a silver dragee in the center of every other rosette.
